1. SET UP AND OPERATE A MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING OFFICE AT SCHOOL
Consult on the design, the facility, and the space to ensure a safe, confidential, and student-friendly office;
Develop the procedure for receiving and referring information, documentation, and case management at school;
Recruit and train the school-based mental health staff;
Supervise and educate staff on the matter of counseling;
Assist in developing and deploying the prevention programs, raise awareness about school mental health;

2.1. For school managing staffs
Educational leadership and management skills: Provide school management and leadership teams with evidence-based methods and practical problem-solving skills at school.
Enhance school culture and deploy a happy school model: Consult and support the construction and facilities of some school spaces, such as the library, reading room, common areas, art room, playground, etc.
2.2. For educators, school employees, and school psychologists
How school psychology works: Raise awareness of the importance of mental health care for students, teachers, and school employees; Learn about the role of the school mental health office.
Basic screening and counseling skills: Learn to identify differences and abnormalities in students having mental difficulties; Learn basic counseling skills like active listening and responding, empathy, etc.
Positive discipline when addressing students’ deviant behaviors: Learn about students with deviant behaviors, how to interact, build rapport, and apply token economy to monitor student behavior.

*** The duration and format are flexible, based on the needs of the school:
The duration of one session can range from 1.5 to 3 hours, and a program can include one or more sessions (program series)
Format of implementation of programs: Direct, indirect, specialized delivery, etc.
*** Topics for prevention programs can be flexible, depending on the target audience and the implementation plan of the school.
3. ASSESSMENT AND CONSULTATION
3.1. Mental health screening & assessment
School-wide screening for mental health issues such as feelings of happiness, satisfaction, mood disorders (depression, anxiety, stress) or other health problems; Behavioral problems such as conduct disorders, deviant behavior,... Sleep problems, eating disorders; Individual assessment of developmental disorders, autism, and learning difficulties (mainly for elementary school students).
3.2. Evaluate and consult the school activities on mental health
Assist in developing the procedure and evaluation; Receive feedback from students, parents, educators, and school workers in order to consult and give suitable recommendations.
4. COMPREHENSIVE MENTAL HEALTH CARE SERVICES
